Current research

Currently working on his PhD thesis with the working title "Anthropology of peacebuilding; power, knowledge and complexity". The PhD project discusses political anthropological theories that deals with notions of culture  versus knowledge  and aspects of power  related to this.

Working on the project Contextualizing peacebuilding activities to local circumstances: Case studies in South Sudan, Liberia and Haiti.

Was visiting scholar at The New School for Social Research and fieldwork in the UNHQ in New York until August 2010, with financial support from the Leiv Eiriksson mobility programme at The Research Council of Norway and the Fulbright Program.
