Dialogue in International Crises
As well as a central part of international diplomacy, dialogue has also become central to Norwegian foreign policy. But what do we know about the character and effect of dialogue when it matters the most – in times of crises?
On 5 September, NUPI and Chatham House invite international researchers and experts on dialogue in conflict areas to share their knowledge and perspectives.
Professor Peter Coleman of Columbia University, Christopher Coker from LSE, Thorvald Stoltenberg and renowned journalist and author Ahmed Rashid are among the knowledgeable participants at this conference.
The conference is part of the NUPI/Chatham House project Cultural Dialogue in International Security.
