NUPI researchers at the International Summer School
- It is a nice change from daily work which also is academically rewarding, course director Hilde Restad says.
The International Summer School (ISS) offers intensive Master's and Bachelor's courses over six weeks to more than 550 students from nearly 100 countries.
NUPI contributions
NUPI researchers has a long tradition for partaking in tuition at the ISS. This year Hilde Restad is in charge of NUPI activity, and earlier course directors include Benjamin de Carvalho, Kristin Haugevik and Morten Skumsrud Andersen.
- The summer school is a welcome opportunity to spread research based knowledge and knowledge about research, Hilde Restad says.
This year NUPI researchers will contribute on topics like IR theory, alliances and cooperation in international politics, change and continuity in Russian politics and international law and the 'war on terror'.
- It is incredibly rewarding to get a chance to discuss the different topics with such an interested group of students with people from all over the world, says Hilde Restad.
