Current research
Francesca Jensenius specializes in comparative politics, with a focus on India. In her dissertation work she is exploring the effects of electoral quotas for the Scheduled Castes (former untouchables) in India. In other papers she looks at electoral outcomes across India, variation in state capacity, how political choices affect development patterns, and issues of representation.
