Current research

Lodgaard is currently leading three projects: Accomodating Iran into the Middle East; Nuclear Deterrence, Disarmament and Development Priorities (with Harald Müller) and The European Security System Revisited in collaboration with the Toda Institute.

His latest book was published on Routledge in January 2011: Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation. Towards a Nuclear-Weapon-Free World?  link.

 Lodgaard was the director of NUPI from 1997 to 2007.
