Research findings and research-based information are disseminated both to specific groups of users and to the general public. This central part of the Department of Communication’s work is carried out in cooperation with the research departments. The staff prepare, arrange and make results and information available through the institute’s publications, web sites (nupi.no and www.hvorhenderdet.nupi.no), national and international books, and journals.
Core activities of the department are publishing, seminars and conferences, library services, media contact and educational activities, in addition to development of NUPI’s intra- and Internet.
